Terms of Use

The short version: the app is yours to use, your content stays yours, and please keep a backup of your export. The slightly longer version follows.

Using the app

By using Memories: Save to Photos you agree to these terms and to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs every app on the App Store. The app is licensed to you for personal use on Apple devices you own or control.

Your content is yours

You keep every right to the photos and videos you import. The app claims none of them. In return, you’re responsible for only importing files you have the right to use, which for an export of your own account you naturally do.

One purchase, no subscription

The free tier includes a limited number of imports. A single one-time purchase unlocks unlimited imports, with no subscription and no recurring charge. Payment is handled by Apple, and refunds follow Apple’s App Store policies.

Keep your export safe

The app takes real care when writing to your photo library, and never deletes anything you didn’t explicitly undo. Even so, software isn’t perfect and exports vary: keep your original export archive until you’ve checked that your memories arrived the way you expect.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is”. We can’t promise that every file in every export can be imported, or that the app is free of errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect damages or data loss arising from use of the app; in any case liability is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Independent app

Memories: Save to Photos is an independent tool for importing your own exported data. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Snap Inc., and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
